Forest pathology of commonly planted tree species across the city of Syracuse
Levi, a multidisciplinary tree professional, will be using advanced methods to investigate the relationship between decay and temperature, among the trees of the Syracuse Urban Forest. His greatest passion is to investigate every aspect of the world of trees in order to communicate the subject effectively to the public. After several years working as an arborist consultant and an educator, he has returned to SUNY ESF as a Master’s student, majoring in forest pathology, in order to further this goal.The Garden Club of America Zone VI Fellowship in Urban Forestry
To advance the field of urban forestry by encouraging students to study the planning, management, horticulture and ecology of urban forests, and the effect of healthy urban forests on people and the environment.
